Taking proper care of oily skin is really a very tricky job, I have gone through serious issues with my oily and acne prone skin. Especially in the summertime when your skin has gone through humid weather, pollution and sweat, it becomes very tough to maintain oily skin. Where heavy moisturizer is a strict no for oily skin, you have to include water-based and effective products in your everyday skincare routine. Acne prone skin becomes very much sensitive and dull, so, you have to take a wise decision before making your DIY face serum. I am currently using this serum and this one is giving me an amazing result.
The process of making a DIY face serum for oily skin:
It is very easy to make the facial serum, you need some very normal organic ingredients. Take 2 tablespoons of organic aloe vera gel in a glass container, then add 2-3 teaspoons of organic rosewater in it, give it a very good mix and then add 3-4 drops of tea tree essential oil. Store this mixture in a dry and cool place. Since it is a DIY face serum, it does not contain any type of chemical preservatives in it. So, make this in a small amount and repeat the process after finishing one set. You can store this mixture in a normal temperature for 7 days and in the refrigerator for 10 days. We all know about the good features of aloe vera gel, it minimizes the visibility of open pores and increases the elasticity of the skin. The moisturizing effect of aloe vera gel is just perfect for oily skin, it does not make your skin greasy at all. Rose water is acclaimed for its refreshing elements, it enhances the natural glow of your skin and makes it radiant and dewy at the same time. And the key element of this serum is tea tree oil, its antibacterial elements help oily and sensitive skin to fight with external bacterias and it also reduces the recurrence of acne and pimples.
